COURT COSTS AND DEPOSITS

Required Deposits of the General Division
The General Division requires the following  funds to be placed on deposit for each civil action or proceeding filed with the Clerk of Courts.

In the event of claimed indigency, the indigent must file an application and affidavit to proceed in forma pauperis.

Required Deposits of the Domestic Relations Division
The Domestic Relations Division requires the following funds to be placed on deposit for each domestic relation action filed with the Clerk of Courts.

Divorce Complaints, Counter Complaints, Cross Complaints:
- With Children	330.00
- All children of the marriage under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Court	302.00
- Without Children	222.00
Dissolutions:
- With Children	272.00

Clerk of Court Costs
Under section 2303.20 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Clerk of Courts is authorized to charge the following fees:

(A)	For each cause of action	25.00
(B)	For taking each undertaking, bond, or recognizance	2.00
(C)	For issuing each writ, order, or notice, except subpoena	2.00
(D)	For each name for issuing subpoena, swearing witness, entering attendance, and certifying fees	2.00
(E)	For calling a jury in each cause	25.00
(F)	For each page, for entering on journal, indexing, and posting on any docket	2.00
(G)	For each execution or transcript of judgment, including indexing	3.00
(H)	For each page, for making complete record, including indexing	1.00
(I)	For certifying a plat recorded in the county recorder's office	5.00
(J)	For issuing certificate to receiver or order of reference with oath	5.00
(K)	For entering satisfaction or partial satisfaction of lien	5.00

Sheriff Costs
Under section 311.17 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Sheriff is authorized to charge the following fees:
